Averie Swanson:

Averie is the founder of Keeping Together, a brewery specializing in farmhouse ales. Prior to that, Averie worked at Jester King Artisan Ales, where she was the head brewer and mastermind behind many of their greatest beers. Averie is a Master Cicerone, and recognized world-wide for her contribution farmhouse ales.


Michael Thorpe:

Mike is the founder and head brewer of Afterthought brewing, a farmhouse brewery based in Lobard, IL. Mike has gained acclaim for his saisons, which he brews in tiny 1.5 barrel batches often fermented in oak casks. His award-winning beers are known for their subtlety, complexity, and drinkability. 


Mike Schallau

"Strong" Mike Schallau began his career at beer at Pipeworks brewing, where he oversaw their award-winning barrel-aging program. From there, Mike went on to found Is/Was brewing - a saison brewery focusing on "simple complexities in liquid form." Mike often brews multiple versions of the same beer - one designed to drink fresh, and the other brewed to slowly transform over time. Mike's favorite hop is Citra.
